763. Additional Powers of Successor Guardian

In addition, a successor guardian may make himself, and may be made, a party to a suit prosecuted by or against the predecessor of the successor guardian. The successor guardian may settle with the predecessor and receive and receipt for all the portion of the estate as remains in the hands of the successor guardian. The successor guardian may bring suit on the bond or bonds of the predecessor in the guardian's own name and capacity for all the estate that came into the hands of the predecessor and has not been accounted for by the predecessor.
